about

holle marie jewelry is a young jewelry design studio from Berlin. I founded it in 2013, shortly after graduating from Wismar University of Applied Sciences as a graduate designer. Concept, development and production are all in one hand, all pieces are made by me in my studio in Berlin-Wedding. I combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, each individual piece reflects attention to detail, lightness in design and a modern understanding of form.

The beauty of my work is the holistic aspect. That I accompany the work process from start to finish, from the design to completion. Every single step requires different skills. Conceptual, design and craftsmanship skills are combined and in the end, a well thought-out, precise, unique and lovingly crafted piece of jewelry is created.

My attention is focused on small, delicate rings as well as expressive, large pieces. I have a particular preference for pencil sketches. Quick, loose drawings that are created effortlessly. I try to translate this lightness into jewelry; it should be tangible on the skin. My collections are also structured like a drawn picture. There are pieces that are reminiscent of a rough draft, but also jewelry that is worked out down to the last detail.

I am interested in the whole range of modern jewelry design. For me, making necklaces in silver or other materials is just as important as playing around with earrings as small objects that you can wear. But of course, working with gold and gemstones in solitaire rings is always an extraordinary task.

Commissioned work plays an important role in my job. I really enjoy discussing my customers' wishes and needs with them and working accordingly. Engagement rings and wedding rings in particular require individual and detailed advice.
